I thought about that too but I went all yolo and installed it on to my gold bar. For some reason, the xbass seems more noticable now as before it used to be a subtle change. XBass + IMR BC = bass head bliss

ps. I keep the film on because fingerprints makes me mad lol

thanks for the information about the xbass. I prefer the xbass as it is now (although I seldom use) since my ier-z1r already has very good realistic bass so I may not update the firmware.

XBass+ and XSpace are both analog circuit based. Changing firmware should have little to no effect on how both work unless there is something really wrong with the firmware.

XBass+ and XSpace are both analog circuit based. Changing firmware should have little to no effect on how both work unless there is something really wrong with the firmware.

What @ClieOS said is correct - XBass and XSpace are all analogue. It is not something we would adjust via firmware.
