Dreaming is good for soul. Everybody has sometimes dreamed of winning a fortune, I suppose. One thing is for sure. I should buy a new amp and new headphones and new source for playing my CDs. But if money was no problem independent of what I chose, then I still would have problem to choose. A pleasant problem, but still not easy. I don't think it would be so easy that you only had to buy the most expensive and then everything were ok.
What amp and which headphones and what source would you choose?

Sony MDR-R10 & Qualia 010 w/ Singlepower Maestro. Since I'm a Sony fan, I would say Sony SCD-1 as a source. Of course, I would probably add Sennheiser HE90 + Blue Hawaii to complete electrostatic set up!

Do you rally need that_ I mean, isn't it enough that you can say that you have R10.

Orpheus, and a Blue Hawaii to drive 'em

As for transport/DAC, that'd be a tough one. So many tempting choices. Classe? Arcam? Levinson?
