If I could only purchase one piece of equipment, it would probably be the RS-1 since the Senn HD cans don't sound so great without an amp.

If I could own only one headphone, it would be the Daddy Orpheus. Duh.

Now, what comes next?
1. HP-2
1. Stax Omega II
2. L3000
3. RS-1

HAHAHA.

I'd go with the RS-1s out of those choices. Duh, everyone wants the HE-90s out of pretty much anything but not many people even have that money ready to spend. So I don't get why anyone is suggesting them if there oviously outta the price range.

Yes, I can be a fun ruiner sometimes.

I voted "other". My pick for one pair of headphones would have to be the AKG K-1000. The reasoning stems, in part, from the fact that I'm a dedicated two-channel loudspeaker guy. That's not say I could not survive for a long time on a desert island listening to my Grado's. But, I would prefer to have headphones that soundstage a little more bit like real loudspeakers do.
