Almost like Boomana and Uncle Erik. O2mk1 if electrostatic, HD800 if dynamic. No K1000 for me

Then very likely PS1/HP2. Great cans too.

mine goes this way
laptop iTunes lossless files ripped from CDs >> SuperPro usb 707DAC >> Little Dot mk ll (modified and with Mullard ef92bva + 6n6P) >> HF-2 F1

bass ample and controlled well... mids unfolded with revealing details.. highs rolled off quite pleasingly

the difference with sr325iS (and other Grados/Alessandros i have or have listen to): HF-2 F1 has better control of mids.. instruments have tad bit more space in-between .. it is like listening to my favorite electrostat system with a bonus of controlled LF octave

Glad you enjoyed yours off the bat!

The fact though that I find mine sounding better now than out of the box, both times using the same setup, speaks more about burn in.

Interesting, too many peoples vote for stationary cans. Do you really may deprive yourself of the pleasure and convenience of portable listening?

GS1000, followed closely by the K701. I'm fond of the HD 650, too!

They don't have an irritation factor...Which is after all what we are all looking for ,..
