I recently bought Fiio x5 and Fiio E12.. I need a pair of iems to go with them.
After reading tons of reviews I found these:
-ETYMOTIC ER4PT or ER4S (Dunno the difference smt with frequency I suppose) (290 USD)
-Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 pro or classic (300 USD)
-DUNU DN-1000 (200 USD)
-UE 900 (300 USD) 
-ETYMOTIC HF5 (150 USD)
-VSONIC GR07 BASS ED. (189 USD)
-VSONIC GR01 SLIMFIT (183 USD)
-CLEARTUNE CT-100 (CIEM 250 USD but I dont think its good no reviews..)
-CUSTOM ART MUSIC ONE (SINGE DRIVER MAKES ME THINK :/) (apprx.290USD) (CIEM)
-INEARZ IE-P250 (DUAL DRIVER CIEM YET NO REVIEW) (300 USD)
-HEIR 3 Ai S (I found so many good revs and appreciation threads about these. Maybe I can rise my cap 50 usd for em'?) (300 usd)
-AURISONICS ROCKETS (first reviews are quite impressive, so..) (160 usd) 
- KOZEE INFINITY X2 (CIEM DUAL DRV 300 USD)
-PHONAK AYYDEI PFE 122 (179 USD)
- FISCHER AUDIO DBA 02 AND DBA 02 MKII (160 USD) (Ive read tons of good reviews of those) 
HiFiMan RE272 (discontinued I dunno how to find them but heard good things. (usd 250)
-WESTONE3 (202 USD AMAZON FREE SHIPPN) (HEARD GOOD AND BAD SO I HAVE NO IDEA..)
 
I listen Heavy Metal, Hard rock, Rock, Blues, Classic Rock etc.
Which one is best for me? Also I don't want to spend more than 250 bucks but if really necessary, I can spend 300 USD.
Thank you so much and btw, I live in a place where i have 0 chances to try those before buying.. So help me please. My eyes hurt reading lol.

I noticed you mentioned a few customs in your list.  From what I understand, what any CIEM's lack in SQ against another pair they will usually make up for in comfort and isolation in a particular price point. However, I will warn you that CIEM's require a mold (more money) and more time (to be built and sent to you). Things to consider.

Based on your musical preference, you may be happier with IEMs with a bit more bass (unless you want to tinker with the EQ in the X5 and bass boost in the E12). My inclination would be to set the X5/E12 for a neutral response and get some IEMs that give you a bass response that you will enjoy. Welcome to Head-Fi.

Guys guys guys, thank you so much for your responses. And bms, I am all over that link like 4 days. I have ordered PFE 122, ROCK IT SOUNDS R50 AND VSONIC GR07.
I have the opportunity to keep 2 of my liking. So many good reviews about gr07 made me crave it..

I will bw posting those mini reviews soon.

And autio, thank you for enlightening me about ciems. You are right probanly their sq/price ratio is worse than those of noncustom iems. I won't be ordering ciems any soon ^.^

Oh man that thread haha There's a lot of good info to be had there. It's good you consulted that. Definitely a manual of sorts. I'm interested to see how those GR07's sound for sure.

Haha absolutely. That topic is the grandmaster of all reviews! Gr07s will be here like in 7 hours so I believe I can give you a peek. Although they require A LOT of burn in. People were talking about 300h of burn in.. h god why:

I've just got the x5 with Senn Momentum over ear - would I benefit by adding the E12?

At 18 Ohm, I would try them without the amp first and consider the amp only if you are not happy with the sound.

Thanks for the reply - happy with the volume but wondered if overall sound quality could be improved - I don't like the EQ on the x5.

 - I don't like the EQ on the x5.

The EQ is sort of subtractive when using the "user defined" EQ function. That threw me off a bit as well, but it is useful when you get used to it, I found.

Guys hi. I have received my cargo. GR07 is perfect. I can even go beyond 70-80 volume on X5. When I did that with Rock it R50 and CKS77 I had so many problems like sibilance, distortion, bass tearing etc. Surprisingly with GR07, NOTHING bad occured. Detailed and clear sounds punchy bass. Compared to R50 mids are one tick worse than R50. But lows making up for it. When I used it with E12, E12 covered its flaws and made it one hell of a earphone. Anyways, my phonak will be here apprx in 12h so I will be updating this thread.

Btw, I am NOT happy with GR07's TIPS.

Before chiming in on your IEM choices, why are you using both the X5 and the E12? Ain't no IEMs on the planet that need that much juice!
