I just received a resin EJ07m kinda lava in a trade. It’s so good my IEM search is officially over. Aligns with my tonality preferences 100% and the fit is perfect for me. Guitars and vocals have so much bite but I can listen for hours with no fatigue.

I also got a Softears Twilight, which is also great. Keeping these both as my #1 and #2

I envy you. But I have the EJ07 OG and it was the last one in the store :P

I used to have the OG EJ07 and EJ07M at a point of time. Both were great for Metal especially OG when you crank it up.
How is Twilight compared to EJ07M KL?

Twilight is more spacious, imaging more holographic, sounds like the lower mids are more present and a bit less bite in the upper mids. The bigger stage makes everything sound a bit more diffuse and less forward. Less detail, but not by much.

Thanks! I’ve been eyeing a single DD for a while and Twilight seems to be the DD endgame for many. I am a treble sensitive listener, would you say Twilight is brighter than EJ07?
