Shure makes one great earphone. That really isn't enough to warrant them staying in against some of the others here.

HEAL - Loved the IE8s for their sound but had horrid isolation, had them but sold them for alien ear customs.

HURT - Loved my E3Cs they sound very decent! Unfortunately Shure makes them out of really cheap plastic.. not a fan of their cables too had to recable the jack.

WOWW, Oh my god, you educate yourself become expert just based on other people reviews.

Do you have any idea how many people disappointing at UM3x / IE8 which I loved so much, after making their purchase only based on what they get from review. People may be fuzzy to what he likes until he really HEAR it in person.

This vote game may be meaningless, if everyone just like you vote by what he read, not what he get from experience, as everyone just blindly follow people lead.

I think you're missing a noun ^.

But yes, I totally agree with that in general, but since noone has tried all the brands here you really can't expect this poll to be objective in any way. Even if you are voting for/against stuff that you're familiar with now, eventually it will probably be down to a few with which you may be unfamiliar.

IMO it is far worse when people actually make recommendations in the help threads based on what they've read (or better yet without even doing any reading) - been seeing some examples of this lately.

Also, how the heck did skullcandy get on this list? It wasn't there to begin with b/c the op realized that it will just be a waste of 10 votes.
