i got my ie8s just wanted to know if they was fake because theres so many people with different views its hard to take anything serious..
 
got them yesterday, had to cut the plastic to open them but when i completey opened them they was taped, it looked like they wasnt tapered with but they was taped with 2 rounded edges,also when u flip the cover theres 3 buds then 1, apposed to the 2 buds then 2 buds on the pictures? is this new design? also I see red in the right driver, they seem to look like totally dubbs  when he had his,ill be posting some pics asap

box wise, yours look genuine, but have a look at the pictures and do a comparison if you haven't. I can't see the red wire in your earphones though.

I have im still confused I cant see any red on the front but when i turn them around i can faintly see something red in there

How do they sound?  Is there anything sound wise to make you think they're low quality?

Im just being paranoid, theyre geunine , I think maybe theyre not for me , even though I hvnt given them any burn time

Just listen to em. If it's got really nice bass and good sound reproduction (instruments should sound pretty dang clear) then you've got genuine. Fakes don't sound good.
