What does Head-fi think of the Icemat Siberia's? Several of my gaming friends have them and love em. But are they really that good? What do you think?

I had those a long time ago. The bass is bloated and sounds muffled.

I didn't like it.

The general opinion on this board is that "gaming" headphones are nothing but a marketing gimmick and usually suck. You should notice that the few guys who actually make a living from gaming do not use "gaming" headphones.

I used HD580 in the past for gaming.
Just better than the Icemats for gaming and certainly much better for listening to music.

Yeah I tried my friend's out, tried burning them in for 3 days, but I couldn't for the life of me get anything that sounded pleasing to me from those headphones.

I've used them, actually I did an extensive review of them.

They're ok, and are pretty cheap considering what you get.

But give me a real headphone anyday...
