What's the dongle for? Also, what size O ring does it come with? I want to buy some for my regular IT01 to keep space for some of my tips.

Oops, obviously I'm new to the hobby. Thanks for the clarification!

IT01 sounds really good.

I can guarantee you guys IT01 sound better than 1More Quad.
It's on par with MEE Audio P1. I can hear instruments I couldn't hear before.

Which IEMs sound better than IT01?
Which ones have wide sound stage, extreme details, wearing comfort?
Some people say IT03 is not better than IT01. I want to try IT04 but it's not in my budget now.

I'm looking to try out UE900s soon.

I would actually say that the IT01 sounds better than the P1 unless you throw a good amp in the mix. Out of my DAP, I think the IT01 sounds better single-ended than the P1 balanced. The IT01 just doesn't scale as much on better gear.

As to your question, I'd say the DK-3001 fits the bill, with an asterisk next to wearing comfort though. Basically, you will either find them perfectly fine or immediately painful depending on your anatomy. But, the 3001 takes the IT01 sound and adds more control to the bass, more presence to the mids, and more extension to the treble. Detail and imaging and spectacular as well. Despite being around $460, they are an excellent value for the quality of sound that you get.

Yes, I agree. IT01 kinda beats P1 in some ways but P1 still has very analytical sound which I like.

Do you think DK-3001 is that good? Dunu is a very obscure company to me. They're less popular than iBasso.
and DK-3001 looks like it copied from Sony XBA-Z5 a bit.

Anyways, I will try to give it a try. I need to find a used unit at better price.

Funny you should say that about Sony.... https://www.head-fi.org/threads/dunu-dk-3001-iem-4-driver-1dynamic-3ba.852732/page-10#post-13746849

They're that good. I bought mine after reading the reviews on Head-Fi from some of big names 'round here, and I was not disappointed. If they had managed to get the fit more universally comfortable, I think DUNU would be a much more talked-about company. I don't want to lay it on too thick here, but I often forget that the 3001 costs less than half what the 846 or Andromedas do. It's very easy to mentally lump them into the same tier in terms of sound.

The company is legit. They have been making IEMs longer than iBasso and have accrued some real acclaim for the 2002 and Titan 5, among others. Nothing to worry about there. All you are gambling on is the fit. Check them out.

Anyone experimented with using spacers on the nozzle? I used the silver spacers from old Dunu 1k with the large wide bore tips and am hearing a marked improvement in the mids. Vocals and mids sound a lot warmer with more dimension. They did sound congested and thin to me at first but now it's a lot better. Overall soundstage is wider and deeper too. I suppose one could even use the O-rings on the nozzle as a spacer, but it's probably better to keep it on the thread. Anyway, now I'm really starting to enjoy them!

Waiting for review, especially comparison to IT01.
It looks gorgeous!

Wait!!
Where did you buy this IT01s?
I want to get one!

I love my IT01 but it has problems with MMCX connection.. Its MMCX connection is kinda loose. My left and right sound kinda come in and out.
I might purchase iBasso CB12 cable..that will obviously double the cost of IT01.
If IT01s offer more tight MMCX connection, I would love to switch to IT01s.

Hopefully, will get to start working on review soon. One teaser about the sound, IT01s to IT01 is like IT04 to IT03  A more mature, less v-shaped, more balanced sound, with a more coherent and less elevated bass!

Please tell us if IT01s has more tight MMCX connection than that of IT01. IT01 has loose MMCX issues...

Both IT01 and IT01s in my possession have tight connectors. IT01s cable looks beautiful, and I like red/blue color coding of the connectors. Those are new connectors as found in CB12s cable. No complaints here.

I wish more manufacturers would do that color coded mmcx jack trick. The only IEM I personally own that does that is the TinAudio T2. It makes it really handy for channel identification.
