iBasso IT00 and AM05 Two very different IEMs with one purpose, to Enjoy the Music!

I think I already have the more expensive version, the Moondrop KPE, so the IT00 will be a wait (for the initial wave to ebb) and see (what shakes out), for me.
I have the KPE too and in terms of musicality, I will pick IT00 over it. Cheers.

Hi, I noticed you also have Ibasso IT01. Could you please do a comparison of both It01 and It00? Wondering if IT00 would be a sidegrade or an upgrade.
How is the isolation of IT00, decent enough for outdoor use? Do they provide good dynamics for rock music?
TIA, Jose
I actually got rid of the IT01 a while back, but from memory I believe it was darker sounding with bass being more loose. IT00 sounds tight, clear and more exciting to me than IT01 did.
Used them today at a rather loud office and during commute - in both cases the isolation was satisfactory for me.
I listen to a lot of extreme metal genres and to me the IT00 proved very capable with complex, fast-paced music.

@SiggyFraud, your comments on the IT00 sound like music to my ears. Right now, I am torn between the IT00 and NF Audio NM2. Going to sit on the fence for a while and wait for some more reviews/opinions before I make a decision on which one to get.
Cheers, Jose
You can check my comparison between IT00 and IT01 on page 4, https://audio123reviews.com/2020/06/04/ibasso-it00/4. IT00 is a no-brainer given its price. Cheers.
does it00 suffer from driver flex when putting on like it01?
Less driver flex definitely in comparison. Minimal.

The IT00 scales very well with tips, cables and DAPs. Very impressed. :)

As an update on ordering directly from ibasso, they processed and shipped quickly. I should be receiving the it00 by Tues.

Anyone able to take a few pictures of the it00 next to a kz zsn/zsn pro/zs10 pro? Faceplates level flat from both outside and inside, a couple side photos too if possible.

I have slightly smaller than average ears so my concha can't fit most mid sized and up IEM's comfortably. These are on the potential shortlist.

Just received mine and I can't seem to be able to get a sound. I'm having an issue with the mmcx connector. Maybe i'm not plugging it right. So annoying.

Besides the MMCX connectors check the 3.5mm Jack is fully inserted. If you have a different source try that too. There are videos of how best to insert MMCX cables.

We have gone with some high quality tight fitting MMCX connectors. If you use your thumb and 1st finger and pinch and apply the pressure at the same time against the shell, you should be able to disconnect. When pushing back on, put the connector in, rotate it some and have it seat well and then push the connection together.

@dadab12

This is the iBasso post on how to insert the MMCX cable.
