Any indication on how the DX80 handles two memory cards?
Will it create two databases or will it have one that includes both cards?
Option of both?

It creates one data base for both cards. We will have the option to rescan each card but it may not be in the UI with the initial release.

It shouldn't but it really depends upon how many files you have loaded on the card. Lossy files are smaller and you can have many more albums on a card so there is more scan time required 2000 albums vs 200.
@Paul - iBasso: It's probably been pointed out (and maybe corrected), but "Diaplay" should be "Display". If iBasso needs any help proofreading, you know where to find me

Thank you for pointing that out. I wanted to see if anyone was paying attention.

Is scan
Is scanning on the fly frowned upon? I just go to the folder I want and it scans it quickly and then I listen to music.

Not frowned on at all. I like to use that method.

I haven't seen any official word on whether the DX80 will support TIDAL or other 'streaming' services.

My assumption so far is that it won't, but the faintest hope still lingers.

Any word that you can reveal on this?

Many thanks!

Damn
>$300 is more than I would want to spend on a DAP that's limited to local storage, even if it does sound good.
Oh well, that's me out (until iBassos next device is announced )

It's a bummer as that second slot had me excited!

Edit- oops meant >$350
And also meant to say thanks 4 the info Awayeah!
