iBasso DX80 Bug Thread - Post Any Firmware Bugs/Issues Here

Went to a local store today and realise that the demo unit would not read my MicroSD card, I think it's because the card is in exFAT format. Has there been an update to fix this issue?

DX80 reads exFAT, FAT and NTFS since firmware 1.0.0. It must be some other reason, not the file system.

Thanks. My ibasso will drain more battery when the headphone is plugged in.

 Please forgive my stupid question
But , are you certain it is actually switched off ? I know that when I first received my unit I thought I had switched it off but I had only paused it and turned off the screen . Now I know you have to wait for the "see you" message and the relay clicks

Yes. It was switched off. If the unit was on then it won't just drain a few percent in 24 hours. ;)

@Paul - iBasso I am very happy with my DX80, so this is more of a feature request than a bug.

There's something inconsistent about having to tap the little left arrow (rather than swiping right) to get out of a list view. Since the DX80 has no "home button" like an iPhone to get you up one level, how about a right swipe across the title bar to do the same thing? Hope that makes sense.

Thanks for a great product!

Thanks Paul. The headphone is about 30 ohms.

I brought this up to our engineers and what is confusing is that when the DX80 is off, the circuits are not longer connected to the battery so we don't know how the headphone would drain the battery.

There is a home to the now playing in the upper left. Just tap the upper left side of the screen. What you would like is a swipe rather than the arrow from what I understand.

Thank you much for the reply!

I wasn't aware of the tapping the upper left corner trick to get to the currently playing song. That's nice. Thank you for pointing that out (I wonder what other user interface tricks I haven't yet discovered – are these all documented somewhere)?

I guess that with that shortcut in place, the interface gestures make more sense. I was referring to a situation where I am looking at something in list view; let's say, a list of songs on an album. I was thinking that it made more sense to swipe to the right to go up one level from the list view than it did to tap on the arrow but maybe that would just be more confusing…

Finally got the time to test this.

Fully charged last night as at 2200 local time. Wake up this morning close to 0800, only 93% left. Both card slot occupied and no headphone plugged in.

Only times I turned the dx80 on was right after I charged it last night, and this morning to check battery level. Both times saw the "see you" screen.

Seems to be worse with the latest few.
