Like what @Whitigir reported on the DX320 thread, not that much. I have it next to my iPhone 14 Pro Max. No issues so far. But it’s early days still. I am streaming music.
I don’t actually have the LCD2 any more. Let me try the HD800 over the next few days. @Whitigir may have tried with HD800? Don’t mind me. The Audeze CRBN came in today as well. So I am dividing my time. It’s X’mas come early for me.
Your right. It is indeed a bit less powerful than the Amp11 and certainly the Amp12 card. But having right at 1W makes it a no brainer for me and no slouch either. That is as long as it still has that tube sound to it.The Amp 14 module arrived yesterday afternoon at Jaben Singapore. Picked it up earlier. Swapped the amp modules and good to go.
From the word go, it sounds tubey enough. Nice reverb. Though it needs burn in for sure. It does seem to be less powerful than the Amp 11 or Amp 12. Will slowly enjoy burning it in.
It should drive my 600ohms drivers to 110dBSPL just fine, though if there are (unseen) impedance spikes like there are on something like the HD650 (200ohms @100Hz) then there might be issues in that area. But from my experience my 600ohm drivers don't really have any TOO noticeable spikes, so the "on paper" numbers should also translate in the real world. For example, the Amp11.2 card drives them very nicely IMO, while amp 13 didn't drive them all that well (plenty of volume, but very flat, lifeless, and no dynamics). This set and the HD700 are the two main reasons that I am looking forward to the Amp14 card.
Please keep us updated on its change (or not) as it burns in?!
This is one question I have also regarding the Amp14 card. It seems as though iBasso haven't really published all the specs on this board as of yet. @Paul - iBasso could you share the full specs on this amp card for us please?

I do enjoy amp14 a lot with 800s. It does pair With the 800s better than Z1R.
I'm a bit lost: what is the difference between amp13 and amp14?

Both use a Korg tube module. The Amp13 has two 3.5mm phone outputs, one is with low power but high tube sound and the other with more power but less tube sound. The amp 14 has two 4.4mm pentacon, one phone out, one line out. The phone out has some of tube characteristics of the amp13 but with a lot more power headroom. The line out is simply a line directly from the dac with no tube amplification.

@Paul - iBasso and anyone in the knows... I need to eq one of my IEM (EE EVO, really unlistenable w/o heavy eq), but I have found no way to apply a pre-gain with the Mango player inthe DX300 (fw 1.06.362), and there are sometimes very audible distorsions that disappears when I de-check the filters that apply the +5db corrections. Any idea? (apart not using the EVO I mean

@Gymboy Tried listening to the HD800S with Amp14. Although I have to increase the volume to 70 on high gain, it is very nice listening. Agree with Whitigir. As for the pesky wifi interference, I cannot say I have noticed.

AFAIK there is no way to apply "custom" pre-gain. I think that when turning EQ or PEQ on, the app automatically adds a -6dB pre-gain.@Paul - iBasso and anyone in the knows... Having said that, have you tried using subtractive EQ rather than additive?
Does anyone know where I can purchase AMP14 from in the United States?

I'm hoping this Amp module is remotely similar to the hybrid/tube amp in the Astell & Kern SP2000T. I'll gladly share impressions when I do manage to get a hold of AMP14.
