So, I also assume that because they are same same, the DX320 is also shipped with the film screen protector, rather than the glass one that they used to ship with the DX300 (which I have/am using)?

You get glass and foil. Haven't opened it yet but it looks like there are 2x foil and 1x tempered glass in the box. Unfortunately nothing pre-installed
Oh, that is excellent to hear. I wrote to @ Paul - iBasso not too long ago asking for a replacement, and he told me that they stopped including the glass some time ago because the were having issues with the touch screen with the glass protectors on the DX300 (even though I have had no problems at all). They must have tweaked the touch screen if they are now including them again..... That also means, I should now be able to get a replacement for mine...

I thought the same when I first got my IT-07 until I got burn-in time on them. Well, it is good news that they are moving forwards rather than backwards...
Other than the DAC chips inside (and the different stock amp card), is it basically the same device as the DX300?
People were saying the dx320 is louder at the same volume-number reported by the devices.
I imagine the DAC section with the desktop RoHM chips has a bigger digital gain? Cause, I imagine the amp modules aren't that significantly different.
Ibasso did mention not to use high-gain on Amp12 w/ the dx320. I guess cause of synnergy issues with the dx320 dac's already high gain?
If it is indeed louder, dx320 is going to confuse people into thinking it's better without volume matching.

The HartAudio cable has been really convenient. As I have a lot of portable gear l alongside some desktop gear.
Like you said, the mini-xlr are really light and small which was surprising. My comment would be, I wish they used the same sheathing on the extension-adapters as they used on the main cables itself. The thicker sheathing on the extension adapters aren't as flexible as the rest of the cable....unless this is a necessary thing for the adapters to not break easily?
I haven't felt it holds back the headphone in an noticable way.

Got a reply on that late last night. According to Paul, the stock screws are the KM1.4, they provide the extra KM1.5 in the case that the stock screws feel a bit too loose for x or y reason.
Side note, also got confirmation that I'm missing a firmware update on my DX300 so that the Amp13 can work. Paul said it's expected to drop later today, hoping that's the case.

Than better you buy DX 320. Than you are saved.
The only hope I've got that there won't be sound changes like it was with dx220. I've read several times on some threads that last updates made it sound worse than before.
