Comrades, is this a bug or a feature? I listen to music through the albums menu item, I do not move to play the next folder, the "play folder" item in the menu turned it on and off.

The Dx300 is of it own , which is very different than Dx240

The DX300 is Out of stock in iBasso web sites for weeks… and it continues out of stock.
I believe than both DX300 and MAX are discontinued. And if so, this will be my last iBasso product.

To be honest, I cannot imagine that the DX 300 has already been discontinued. I tend to tap delivery bottlenecks for some parts. Just like it was with the MKI to MK II.

The Dx300 is out of stock on Ibasso website just because Ibasso is currently going to use distributors networks, rather than direct sales from website

So direct sale can be handled in a “limited stock quantity”, and so this will be a better and more fair to the “dealers who carry Ibasso stocks”. At the same time, still enable Ibasso as a brand of direct sales still

Instead of producing the DX300 2021 using the CS43131, they released the DX240?

Maybe we will get lucky and iBasso will consider doing a R2R DAC so they won't have to worry about DAC chips anymore. That combined with Amp Modules in a TOTL DAP? Think of the possibilities!!

DX300 and/or DX300MAX form factors. One super high-end transportable (MAX) version and one with swappable amp modules ala DX300.
Look at the HiBy RS6. I'm sure the DAP makers have to be getting as tired of DAC chip and other parts shortages as much as the rest of us. Why not a resister ladder DAC with oversampling and non-oversampling modes and filters controlled by FPGA...something iBasso already does quite well!

Another reason to keep your DX300 from being sold. Soon this version of the sound from iBasso on CS43198 will become rare. My local dealer read this news this morning and raised the price of DX300 by 50$. Lol
