I agree but the fact that Apple Music causes exact same issue make me more suspicious it’s h/W especially as it’s a hard crash. I tried factory reset and reinstall and same issue.

On a related but side note when I tried to restore firmware using local file after the player starts a restores it comes to an end and does a sort of weird reboot without a device restore etc. I had to factory reset the device to have a fresh installation . Is that normal ?
I would use the recovery mode and wipe the data and the factory reset. You use a USB to the DX300 and hold down the forward button and then plug it into a computer or charger and the recovery menu comes up. Use the volume wheel to go up and down the choices and the power button to make the choice.

+1

Maybe THEN try and install the local file. And yes this is a normal android thing. If you don't clear the drive off before installing the local file, whatever might have caused the issue to begin with might still be there.

Oh well, what do I know ? The LC-RE brings improved sub bass, bass density and decays while elevating details, textures and the trebles fidelity!! Now I can confidently say that this ATH is a very good buds and worth every penny

Just works for me, newest firmware for DX300 (1.03.241) and Roon Server and App on version 1.8 (806).
Wow, I'm thinking it must be the firmware update. With both Roon server and app updated to 1.8 (806) I am still having the same limitations, but I have no updated since the site went down.

My DX300 still on 1.02.204, can't wait to upgrade!

Apparently iBasso site now is up again, but the latest firmware on their site is still 1.02.204.

Buds are pretty good if you are into earbuds. The cables being noticeable improvements to it, but you need to solder in the new connectors A2DC
IC, ok, no thanks. I like the IT07 a lot anyway. :^)

I uploaded the firmware i got from the link a few days ago here.
I take zero responsability for any issues people might have when installing it tho.
I have not encountered issues in android mode yet.

Plexamp now works (used to give me noise in the left or right channel) but still limited to 48khz.
As for Roon being bit perfect that would be great. Still waiting for official confirmation that this would continue working before paying for Roon tho.
