anyways, as long as we have a confirmations that it works just as other stuff, then that answer the questions.
So, it is more about the output impedance of the amplifier bringing out the uneven impedance characteristics of the HP / IEM, which in turn effects the sound like an EQ. Because iBasso amps have all low output impedance, the sound characteristics of IEMs (LID or no-LID) will be effected minimally - but of course, less when it is LID. I guess LID does some impedance matching among the drivers.
14,5 hours after charging im down to 9% analog (6,3% drain per hour) and 11% (6,1% drain per hour) digital, i am sure the 15 hours would have been possible.
Same gain, volume and filter as with my Monarchs and additional flight mode and status LED off.
I am sure with actual IEMs or Headphones it would have been less, but it's nice to see to somehow get to the promised 15 hours.

1/ both LO and PO are now with the Sleeve Grounded and Drained to ground
2/ Buffers are now 4x instead of 2X. Possibly 2 is for amplifications and 2X is dedicated for LO.
3/ Output transistors are the same great deal from the MKII but is increased in numbers. It is now 2X per active lines instead of 1X. That means the MKII has 4X for 4 Active lines and the Amp12 has 8X
4/ it appears the voltage supplying toward all the buffers on both LO/PO are discrete with discrete transistors
5/ Amp12 is louder than MKII, more dynamic, and to be expected from a more powerful output
6/ Main PSU reservoirs are retuned with an additional film capacitor
*Notes* To think that DX300 has all dedicated to LO is very crazy
A/ analog independent batteries
B/ discrete power rails
C/ dedicated buffers and circuitry
D/ Also a properly implemented Ground sleeve with drains
If anything at all, for example, you are not a fan of the 12 signatures, you would still be head over heels by the performances from LO implementations. It has the most dynamic and density that I have observed from any portable sources. The A02 pros is it black and clean background with different Low Pass Filters modes. The 12 is all discrete and crazy dynamic with also a clean background that would drop anyone jaws as well
The AMP 12 PO doesn’t appeal to me as much as AMP 11 MK1 but I fully agree the LO is quite amazing. It’s a huge difference over the non dedicated LO from AMP 11 MK1. It was really special with the C9. Unfortunately I am kinda over using the stack, but it is exceptional regardless.
Still on my 80ish hour burn out of AMP12.
Just sharing my thoughts, Battery usage for 7 hours (3 times experiments), the AMP Bat left 6 -11 % while Digital Bat left 41-60%. using the same 25W charger, and seems to charge a bit longer, with AMP filling first then Digital ( around 3 - 4 hours) compare to AMP11mk1
Compare to DX220, this one runs warm, lol, I like that.
Soundwise, I allign with Damon, Clean & Precise sounding. Currently it is really synergies with Headphone (HD800s, R70x, or HD668b), enough power and outstanding soundstage (even ZMF VO sounds the widest soundstage compare to Desk AMP, IMO). Also great with high impedance Earbud. Yet seems sounds a bit border for my IEM.
will do more intense when reach over 100 hours.
If direct H2H between other DX300 AMP11mk1 & AMP12, in short listening period, majority ppl will choose AMP12.
edit : my parameter of burn in, Volume 100, Gain M, Flac file, using Ibasso Burn in Jack. only charge when needed (reach 100% both AMP & Digital, charge off).
I can only wonder what is after AMP12. Maybe they will focus on pure amp , but from what I've read, it can't be bettered?

Can’t ? There are always more to achieve, the real question would be “how much are you willing to pay ?” And “you” means the mass of customers and not any single individuals.
Hoping for a NuTube or miniature tube based amp card as from what I can see the DX300 amp card is almost twice the size of the previous DX220's implementation.
