It certainly looks very interesting. Especially if iBasso implements its Korg nutube so that it sounds tube like. How was it for Amp 13? I would avoid it if it ends up sounding like the Cayin N8ii implementation where the tube setting did not sound that much different than normal SS.

A question on the AMP12, I had a modded 12W that got physically damaged, I’ve replaced it with a stock 12 that I was planning on getting modded again but may hold off now that the 14 is coming. The question is, I get an annoying pop when plugging and unplugging my IEMs, I don’t recall that happening on my 12W but it may have. It’s fine if it’s normal, I’m just a bit worried about damaging my IEMs. Does anyone else experience a pop when plugging or unplugging into the 12?

Hm. I never have my IEMs in my ear when plugging or unplugging. Are you talking about through the IEMs or externally audible without the IEMs in?

I have a modded AMP12EX but I have never experienced that. Are you sure your 4.4mm plug is properly wired?

Oh wait you said it didn't happen with the old AMP12 so then it seems like it must be a fault in the new camp card.

Do you turn off the DX and then restart it when you change amp modules?

A question I'm afraid I already know the answer to: is it possible to control the DX300 remotely via another device (Android smartphone)?

I don't know if Mango player has that feature but some third party apps do. I think Hiby player, Fiio player and maybe Astell & Kern apps might. But know this may be specific the there own players so may or may not work with other audio players. Try a search on the play store. Hope this helps.

I´ve read the Andromeda 2020 is a good Pairing with the DX300. How about the 2,5 mm Balanced Port? Is there some hissing noticable? Is the Volume Adjustement fine enough on low gain?
I have the Andros, but would recommend the Thie Audio Monarch2 which I auditioned at CanJam. To my ears it was clearly better, and cheaper.

From the txt file for the latest FW

Improvements with this firmware:

1. Added support for the AMP14 amp card.
2. Supports Netflix, Disney+, and the latest Amazon Music. (Android OS)
3. Rectified the bug that some album artworks can't be fully displayed. (Android OS)
4. Rectified the bug that some names of the digital filter are incorrect.
