When I turn on the DX 300 screen and flick the volume wheel I hear a click and with each click the volume increases or decreases by 1 or decreases by 1. If the DX 240 is anything like Morndeway then Cheers Meal!! I'm so glad after what I read in the DX240 thread that I didn't buy the thing too quickly.

I think finding something better like DX312, 12W,12 EX is damn hard. And that's definitely not the DX 240.
I think Whitigir will agree with me. That's my personal opinion by the way. I don't want to attack DX 240 owners. I know that you all read 240 with. You want to know what's new from the good famous unbelievable big brother!!!:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::jecklinsmile:

It's also a setting thing. I have it so that when the screen is off, the volume wheel is disabled. If I switch on the screen, the volume wheel reacts with the first click. Whether it's quieter or louder. And that doesn't seem to work with Morndeway.
DX240 with the same control FW does not change volume with the first click with the screen on. 1st click, the volume control appears. 2nd click, volume change, subsequent clicks change as long as the control is visible. Needs that added click if the control display disappears. When V control is enabled with screen off. Every click changes volume when the screen is off but when the screen is on, it still takes the extra click to activate the V display 1st.

I suspect it should be the same with the DX300.

I don't doubt the DX300 is better, especially with the added amp space allotment and battery stuff but I prefer that my pants fit. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

And guys if you want to save money on your next orders then don't buy from Hifi Go but in Vietnam. I've already said it to Rigatio, but the dear boy doesn't listen to me. Check out the xuan vu audio website. IT 07 for 590 US or Oriollus Isabellae for 395 USD. All brands from Asia are a lot cheaper. I buy everything from in this store. They ship internationally. It is the largest audio store in Vietnam. With many branches in Hanoi Saigon and other cities. Here is the website, unfortunately only in Vietnamese. Google Translate to your language. https://tainghe.com.vn/

You can contact Sophie, that's the boss, via Whats App.+84 969900589

Order her a nice greeting from Carsten from Nha Trang and ask for the best price. You will get!!

I just got photos from HM Audio. My cables are on their way. Look very nice. I'm curious how they sound.

Its not that i dont listen to you but wasnt a fan of buying something from outside the europe due to increase shipping and tax fees which all together reach same costs or similar. And the service is more complicated in case if something happens. But damn the prices there are really low in comparison so i will consider this shop more seriously from now!

Yes, you should definitely do that too. Because of customs and such, there are many tricks. Declared as B-goods or as a demonstration device at half price. I'm in your position myself. I want to try a lot and I'm happy if I can save money. And before I order something from Hifigo or Alieexpress, Linsoul or anywhere else I look where I can get it the cheapest. And customs are everywhere. You can also be lucky if you choose normal shipping and it slips through. Ok may take 3-4 weeks. eg. your Kineras from Switzerland?? I think very expensive. I'll ask Xuan Vu what they cost because I'm interested in them too. I'm already saying 200-300 euros cheaper. Even my Focal Celestee were 200 euros cheaper here than in Germany.

To come back to cables. The HM Audio 23AWG 8 strands all rhodium connectors copper cable is a blast!! I'm listening really hard compared to the PW M2 on Mest MK II. The $90 cable is better in every way in my opinion. There is a lot of hype around PW, Eletech and others!! My opinion. Totally overpriced.
