Which amp on the dx300?

The legendary AMP11Mk1.. hahahha.. since it already not exist.. so legendary right..

anyway, having wonderful time last night, using IER Z1r on DX300 with BRISE cable... EDM songs with SPACE Theme felt so spacious...

Yet you wont get the same sensation with N6ii R01.. IMO..

edit, lets be fair, N6ii R01, works / synergy with this earbud... the imaging was superb.

For anyone who is having issues using an iOS15 device as a mobile hotspot for the DX300, you can connect to the internet via a Bluetooth connection.

If you pair the devices via Bluetooth first, then go back to the Bluetooth settings on the DX300, tap the device name you have paired with, you are then presented with a toggle switch that allows you to use an internet connection over Bluetooth.

It is not as fast as using a wifi hotspot but it's better than no connection at all.

It's because the DX300 cannot connect to wifi with the WPA3 security. Unfortunately all iPhones with ios15 use the WPA3 for their hotspot therefore the DX300 will not be able to connect to any newer iPhones with iOS15.

This wasn't addressed in the newest firmware. Perhaps @Paul - iBasso might be kind enough to give us an update and let us know if iBasso is working on this.

Does anyone else have a dx300 paired with a Burson Soloist 3? The dx300 amp 12 does pretty good as a dac in line out. I'm eventually getting a chord qutest but for now the soloist, dx300, and lcd x 2021 are rocking! The lcd x have never sounded so good.

I have had the same experience with the LO hooking the DX 312 into my LP balanced.

Rolling Gears... have an opportunity to try IEM again, at first was not comfortable, somehow I feel so congested when listening to IEM now days.

Since all my current headphone and earbuds are being borrowed for new audio lover.
The swap I got was IEM u12t, and VE8 actually... so cut it shorts, I prefer u12t with all the setup I can optimize.

Then it strokes me, when I was OTW to office, listening u12t with DX300 Mango OS, DF2 & Mid Gain, it hits the sweet spot.
Thick Sound, Fast decay, Open & detail Vocal, great separation, & good authority sounding... it reminds me Headphone R-70x when optimize drive.
I dont feel the congested (u12t have a wide soundstage, and VE8 slightly better Depth).
Just sharing my thoughts and impressions.. my key points try DX300 at the maximum u can try...
At least now, I know my best synergy sounding when using IEM U12t....

edit : when using u12t, please use the short stem ear tip, It really affect the SQ in Technicality ... just sharing

I'm intrigued with what a higher-end desktop DAC might do to the sound (and Chord's name sure gets thrown around a lot) but don't want to lose the iBasso's excellent EQ and PMEQ -- settings that can travel with the player. 9bphillips, have you been able to audition the Qutest vs the amp12? Do I want to know what you heard?

No I haven't. I will be getting a qutest but it will probably be 3 or 4 months from now.

Are you using usb C cable to TT2 ? Can Spotify output using usb C to TT2 ?

Yes.. I use USB C to TT2.

edit : based from trusted source and guarantee, using smartphone (Spotify) connect via USB C to Hugo TT2, is working fine ... so I assumed, is do able with DX300..
if you have UAPP, just click no, where ever a pop up show when u plug USB C to DX300... to make sure the music from spotify come out...
