This maybe strange but the Titanium unit doesn’t have that metallic smell like Stainless Steel. That is another indicator . The titanium is also unfinished and non coated. So, the brushed textures will get darker over uses, and look better in a way. I don’t use the leather case, and I can see it getting darker. This is against 2Max SS btw, which I don’t think is much different. I know for sure is that picking up the 2Max vs 3MTi, the Ti will be noticeably lighter. I assumed for 3Max, this will be much more noticeable. So I don’t think you can be confused.

The only way to be confused is to hand you 1 unit alone if 3Max and ask you to identify it. Then smelling it is one way

Replacement DX300 arrived today from Amp3. Straight forward swap for the faulty one.
Now got the Mk2 version.
Nice to have it back, been using the W2 dingle dac a fair bit. Its good but nice to have the ibasso back in my grubby paws

The DX300 is so good that sometimes I get a little spoiled and forgot how unreal it sounds and how easily it does what it’s supposed to do…like rocking my face off earlier today, working in combination with this album from The Cult and my pair of @CampfireAudio Solaris2020.

That looks perfect. I just wonder if it has something as thick as the DX300 in it.

I’m traveling a little with my DX300 and just want something to protect it when it’s in my bag and include 1-2 pairs of IEMs.

Recently I experience quite unusual charging pattern, the Amplifier Battery only charge max 99%. and it will stay like that although the Digital battery alrd 100 %.
the green light still on, and I let it be for 2-3 hours, still the same, 99% A 100%D. So I just unplugged it. This already happened for 3 - 4 times, random.
Same charger, and time to charge... same pattern... The device is turn off when charging.

There's no difference when I used it daily, still solid 8 hours, with battery left around 15-20 % between Amplifier and Digital indicator.

Mine does the same thing. I do better when I leave it on when charging. It doesn't do this all the time.
