Vocal ? Yepe!! The LO of the Dx300 is so crazily capable that it is ridiculous. This tells me one thing that the DAC sections of the DX300 is such a wonderful design as a platform itself.

Yet it is DSD and that just means the flows of digital informations being retrieved, the FPGA the pass over toward the LPF are all implemented in such a crazy ways

Then when I would want further vocal confirmations. There is Swift!!! Ohhhh talk about Swift, or how about Madonna ?




Then again, with this experiences. One has to be left wondering, what could Dx300Max achieve ?

I have read somewhere that UAPP is working with Ibasso on that. From the evidences suggested, it is a software features that isn’t enabled correctly

Honestly, for me it looks weird and not safe. 2,5 to 4,4 yes, 4,4 to 2,5 yes, Balanced to unbalanced- safe. But single to balanced? Never heard of it.

I noticed that the problem with shouty vocals doesnt exist on Mango player. Especially on native Mango. It sounds perfect with xelento. UAPP has def inferior sound. Pity because its the only way to listen to Tidal. Seems like we need to wait for full support for dx300.

Neutron!!!! All the way. Then MangoOS is the best there is. The sole reason why I buy Ibasso would be MangoOS

I tried neutron and it sounded good but i dont need it to play my local files. I use Mango for this purpose. I need external app for Tidal only.

Agreed , but there may be some meaning behind the name Dx300Max. It look to me that the Dx300Max adopts everything from Dx300 except the DAC. That may explain it. Also with the uses of a different DAC, now everyone has a better excuses to keep all 3 players: Dx220Max, Dx300, Dx300Max

To my ears is dead flat , can't hear anything emphasized or lacking.
