I will pull that repo and do some sciencing when time permits. That is cool and I wasn't even aware it existed before your post.

I tried it on Windows and it works pretty good. I can play a YT video with NewPipe and watch it on my Windows desktop.

@Whitigir
Hi, do you think the sound signature has changed much on the MKii after some time on it. I appreciate your feed back so far 😊
Thanks.
Yes, quiet significant, the MkII is more details, crisp, neutral, controlled VS MKI. I would totally recommend MKII and Dx300 surely

Thanks, as I think you have had the MKii for a while, do you think it had changed much with burn in from your first impression?👍
Thanks again
Not as drastic as MKI, but it does go through phases as well. The merits of out of the box performances only last upto 4 hours and after that the next phase kicked in, the bass would be blooming and warmer and this continue upto 25 hours then slowly refined itself after 50 hours and the next phase started again where trebles clarity, separations and extensions are better retrieved with better fidelity, then it keeps on refining itself back into the out of the box merits with further finesses

I never observed it so a warmer amp will become magically neutral after burn in. However, burn in usually is a refined results of out of the box performances with further finesses. This as a result, and needless to say, I was never truly satisfied with MKI as I have not been posting much about it :D “Teeth grinned”, but now I enjoy MkII ways more and so you see me here more often

I have some notes up to 50 hours so far on amp11mark2 - pretty much echoing @whitiger

I will sit on my notes for now until i get to 75-100 hours then do a swap back to amp11mark1 to confirm my findings.

i will say....

DX300/amp11mark1
- love this ui and battery life of this multimedia device - ends up using it mostly to catch up on movies and tv.

DX300/amp11mark2
- ...stays up to 2am two nights in a row listening to music on shuffle after the kids went to sleep. And i like my sleep...

Awesome! That is an excellent find @DarginMahkum. Thank you for sharing the Github Repo. Gives me more reasons to use VSC outside of work and home labs.

Does someone happen to know the part no / internal model no of DX300 MK2?
My newly ordered one is called "HL01695.BLACK" in the order confirmation.
Is that an Ibasso no or just the local distributor no?
Wondering if it is MK 1 or 2.
Thx

Whitigir, would you say the Mark II version is closer to the 220 MAX? I ask because I prefer the Mark I version's sound over my MAX. MAX was too "dry" for my taste. Still the Calyx M is the best I've heard thus far.... haven't ever heard a R2R unit......

@FooFighter
Dunno.

my guess is that is the daps number

HL01695.BLACK
HL01695.BLUE

and that the slight variation of amp11mark2 parts and also future amp modules to be released probably means that number (dap code?) will remain the same

Maybe a roll of the dice of which amp it comes with at this point of transition.

But i am just speculating.

Amp mark1 number>>>

Amp mark2 number>>>

When did you order it? I ordered mine 31/3/2021 and what came was the MKII version, as hoped.
