There is also an unofficial information from one of the seller from EU that it will cost around 1100-1300 USD (after currency conversion), so it's quite possible.

I will be up for dap upgrade soon. My top current choice is SE200. But if this is actual price and is a decent upgrade to dx228 It might end up being mega deal.

True, but i would like to see what im buying first lol.
While i have high hopes and i believe ibasso will make it a competetive product. There are too many unknowns that can end up being dealbreaker.
I can manage to wait til reviews start rolling out. Or can I?

Im actually curious at where its going to stand in general in term of technical ability. Give how many new released daps we have at the moment.

Not sure if dx300 and MAX should be compared as same category though. As they are mean for slightly difference pursose.

But then, if Ibasso has sold out all its Max units already, they have nothing to lose making a superior Dap. If they are able to of course.

It's not so obvious when You live outside the US (Moon Audio is US shop, am I right?). After adding an import fees to that price, it will cost the same (maybe even a little bit more) as from the official EU sellers.

TBH, iBasso never let me down when it comes to DAPs. Especially in terms of a sound quality - it was always a killer in their price range. I think I will take a risk of being beta tester with the DX300 - if it will be bad, I will never pre-order anything, anymore.

In my opinion the DX300 is differently positioned than the MAX. MAX is more a desktop DAP and showcase of a technical abilities of the iBasso for a limited run. DX300 will be more a mainstream DAP, little less focused on pure sound and more focused on daily usability and features. Nevertheless, my expectations for sound quality are high and I think it will sound great and superior to the DX220.

It might end up being the first model in new line(by wich i mean not a totl player). Like fiio did moving from X series to M series players. Kust cause its called dx300 doesnt mean its a flagship.
It might be that a dx320 or 330 comes out a bit later.

We don’t know for sure, but we all know that

1/ DX line with the number to indicate it segment. For example the DX150 is below Dx200 or Dx220. Then I don’t know, but Dx150 has module and dx160 doesn’t. They probably are the same tier with different category

2/ Dx220 is discontinued

3/ Dx300 incoming

My guess is that Dx330 will be the flagship with the highest number in the name and while the 220 is fading out of productions.
