Out of interest did anyone else try a factory reset while on the latest firmware and did it make any difference to the Ultimate Mode issue?

I am busy downloading the 2.01 firmware image and will try an install via the 660 tool this evening to see if it works.
Yep, this should solve the UM issue. Let us know if this actually helped in your case.I am busy downloading the 2.01 firmware image and will try an install via the 660 tool this evening to see if it works.

I’ll be testing it today too, i downgraded the latest firmware to stock yesterday.
Nice. Which firmware file did you use?Yes, it work in my case with 660 tool !
I tried but was getting errors using the update tool (had followed the instructions as per the included document).
Now I can’t switch my DAP on
Anyone know of a button combo to do a hard reset or enter Android recovery mode? I tried holding power for 10-20s to no avail.
It happened to me. The solution is to open the player and disconnect the battery for a few seconds. You can use a hot air gun and a sucker. Most of the glue beneath the glass is in the center of the player.Nice. Which firmware file did you use?

Good luck!
Ugh. So I won’t be doing the downgrade unless there’s a fool proof step by step guide..
@Paul - iBasso at the very least, can you help with that then?

If you get error during update tool, don't unplug cable, let try hold both the power and player button 10s and after try it again, it works well. I'm using 1.03img and 2.02 also work in my case.Nice. Which firmware file did you use?

Downgrade is pretty easy for me, but you might encounter anomaly like xenithon, finger crossed. It happened to me. The solution is to open the player and disconnect the battery for a few seconds. Reading the latest firmware comments with interest. I've been trying to decide whether to keep the DX320 I received as a gift. It seems the latest firmware affects utimate mode, but having googled this mode (I haven't used the device yet) it only seems to show up on results relating to the 320 Max Ti. Is this the case and I don't have to worry about this issue on the regular DX320?
I somehow managed to get the player up and running again, still on the current 2.02 firmware. I’m going to leave it be and use it without ultimate mode until such time as iBasso (hopefully) issue a new firmware that fixes the issue. Not taking any more chances of potentially bricking the unit.
