Why, do they suddenly sound bad?
They are not but most of us don’t expect a shelf life of about 1.5 years for a flagship of a device either.

In theory, but not always in practice. Then, there's also the subjective sense of "how a device sounds". When the DX300Max was launched, I remember people who still liked the sound of their DX220Max more.
I prefer the DX300Max over even a modified DX220 Max so in this case, it’s true for me. I also like my 300MaX Ti considerably more than the regular DX300Max.

If the 320MAX is ~$3500, I think prices for used 300MAX should hold at $1600-$1800.
Would be nice if it's worth $1800 used. 220max is paperweight now. 🤣🤣

Nope! Got 300max brand new with dealer discount for $1900. Would be nice if it's worth $1800 used. 🤣🤣
Maybe around $1500 now? I need to help a friend of mine sell one too.

Good price. I wouldn't let my 3Max go for a dollar less than $1600, but that's just me. It's at least as good as some of today's $3K players.

If it's the Ti version it's worth more than that, as a special edition with high-end caps. But then, I'm not planning on selling mine, I guess.
I love my Ti. Won’t sell either and likely will not buy the new 320Max either.

Dang, I was hoping the large bezels was gone (sad face) :frowning2:. I love the sound but at the price i would want a larger screen, more modern design, to the edge or slim down to the screen. Or tilt like the Acro series from AK. To me the DX320 Edition X looks better and more modern. I was hoping they took the Edition X screen to edge and thickened it up for a MAX version. Oh well, one can only hope.

Well, if I'm honest, the DX320 Max looks very much like the 300Max, can't tell any differences in shape or bulk. Design-wise, I'll agree it's minimalist and plain (a little "brick" as some fans called it adoringly), but these are tastes, so fair enough. For me, it's the sound that matters. Not even weight and portability faze me (I'll even wear it while working out, inside a special pack, and take it with me when out and about in a small rucksack).

Then only DX300MAX Ti matters....

Well, from the translation above the chassis on the 320Max is titanium alloy. So the regular max already have the Ti chassis treatment.
