Trying to install the app is a big circle jerk. I googled it, it said purchase in the Google Play Store. I go there and try to pay the $7.99. It says the google act is not associated with a device. Please access the App Store on your device. I did and nada. I am logged into google and I have payment set up with my account.

Your 3Max was improperly reset by the previous owner I think.

How does the ESS Dac of the WA8 and the 3max match? Can you avoid using the ESS Dac?

I'm using line-out (4.4 to 3.5mm), so it completely bypasses the ESS dac.

ESS sounds so flat compared to the holographic image out of the 3Max. Never liked ESS so I may be biased haha

Have formatted my Micron to 16MB unit size, down from 32MB, and, after having listened for several hours, I can say that jitter is almost entirely gone. Used to get jitter every few songs on the higher size, now still get at something like a rate of once every fifteen songs, which is significant improvement. Sound has slightly closed, relative to the top size, but that's to be expected, no biggie tho. Still larger, cleaner sound than before (on .5KB). That's with Neutron, I've not tried MangoOs. For info, all my tracks are 11MB or above (up to about 300MB tops), all flacs.

Well it worked. I cleared my history and downloaded the Google play store app. I then was able to purchase UAPP.

I didn’t say TIDAL or Qobuz yet but I’m kind of in a hurry I’ll have to revisit it later this morning. Am I supposed to give access to my system? I was asked that, but didn’t click on it yet.
