Well, i'm usually using integrated microSD slot in my laptop to transfer files as speed is much higher. But to me it was oblivious that mSD slot (and interfaces) must be a part of Snapdragon 660 SoC.. Maybe i'm wrong of course.

The Snapdragon 660 SOC has a SPI interface that can be used to control microSD card so I think you are right since that’s how most microcontrollers interact with SD cards.

Recently I had to do something similar at work to implement a quad SPI master using Xilinx FPGA, writing Verilog code. So the FPGA and microSD discussions here are definitely interesting to me.

If you want a USB cable to charge the amp battery. Instead of the official power supply.

Yes, and for the 300max, select the 12v option.

That's a great charging alternative! Er which Volt/Watt is the right one?
12v for the 300max is optimal
15v for the 220max is optimal

According to Paul, 12V one is better choice for longevity, though 15V will also work.
Yes, use the 12v as recommend.
I have bought both cables, since I had the 220max.

Although the 15v is said to also work,
the 300max had some delay and also non-charging with the 15v, even with the green indicator lit up.
Although the unit was not updated to latest OS. It was on second OS update, not the third.
So I don't know if the issue is resolved.
Bottom line would be to use the recommended 12v option.

Think I might just pass on the confusing Micron cards and keep using my Sandisk Extreme Pros
When Sandisk Extreme Pro came out, it was one of best in it's day. That day (year) was 2017....
Don't hold onto older, consumer grade tech.

optimal = slower but better for the device?

Dang, I have a whole bunch of Extreme Pros. Just how inferior is it to current tech and is it poor in terms of sound or general performance like speed, durability, etc? And is there another brand/model that’s easier to find than Micron?

Wouldn't even say it's a slower charge, because that's not how it works .
If the charger has ample current output, I don't see the voltage making any difference in charge time..Its more likely the design of the charging circuits

I currently have the extreme Pro, and it's my best card, but I'm planning & trying to decide which SD to upgrade to.
Either the micron or the greenliant are the ones to decide ( for me).

Oh my god, I think I just found something Interesting since I brought up Oversampling theory

AK4499EQ is only 128X Oversampling vs AK4497EQ which is 256X Oversampling. That means 4499 is at 4X and 4497 is at 8X

Looks Like the USB dac in ANdroid does not work also. I tried using it and my DX300 Max just shuts down. It's abit scary coz I was not able to open it for a while.I had to do a very long press on power button. I am not trying it again.

I cannot test it at the current moment but before i tested both MangoOS DAC and Android DAC, all worked fine with my macbook and Audirvana/Colibri (i don't have any other players purchased to test). Worked fine, only problem i found was DAC name.

Not that I really need it as USB dac. Em just curious if it works but then I am afraid to brick my DX300Max so I will leave it to experts to test it

So is that a good thing or bad thing to find? Or should it have not been there in the first place? 🤔

Now this makes me be craving for an Ibasso with

Dual ES9038Pro
Titanium chassis
Cooling mechanism passively and aggressively
MAXIMIZED

with SnapDragon 888!!!!

I can careless about form factor, logically thinking about thicker than 3Max is still fine
Did you rob a bank? :)
