Anyone hear volume differences between left/right ears when using IEMs at low volumes? I've noticed on some IEMs, while I turn up the dial from 0 volume (still has music playing), audio is loud in my right ear first, then at some point my left ear hears it louder, and then when I hit a certain volume, both ears hit the same loudness level. My analog vol is set to like 90 or around there

I'm not sure if it is even possible but I've noticed that the level of this imbalance decreases over time.
Some time ago I was unable to listen below the level of 10 o'clock with analog at L and digital at 75-80%. Now I am at 100% and M with the same pair of iems. I have the imbalance only at the very beginning of the scale and I can even lower it by going form min volume upwards rather than downwards.

Yeah to be fair the stellia just beats iems, especially after they have had some use.
So far I am seeing the IEM market in general taking more of the closed headphone market.
We got IEMs selling from hundreds into the thousands which more buyers are willing to spend money on, and I have heard some expensive IEMs which will scale above and beyond the level of a "Stella". 😮
I still keep an open headphone to compliment a closed, but now my IEM (64 Audio U12T) has replaced my closed headphones in usage. 🙂

And as usual, price does not denote quality. I heard some 3600 IEMs that were dreadful. Course highs and just ok soundstage. But the highs, grainy. I really couldn't believe it but there it was.

I think I heard those too! 😅
Couldn't agree more. The aspect of value for cost has been abandoned by most manufacturers.
It makes companies like iBasso stand out. 👍

Not really.
IEM for outside.
Closed and open HP home with desktop tube amps or big DAP...

Finally, I published my DX300 MAX review. It took a lot, a lot of work. However, it was all worth it, and I am happy with the outcome. Had a lot of hiccups along the way, but life goes on and you push forward.

Enjoy!
