At ~100 hrs the Max is sounding different than yesterday but still not what I would classify as "endgame".Even though this is the end of the buy more and more audio equipment game for me. I'm pretty sure when the Max reaches the top of it's potential after a couple hundred hours of burn in along with the Clear h/p's There will be no more need to try for that last .05%

I leave it plugged in but not high res music so it doesn't get too warm and no case on, so it is better able to cool. I get around 10 hours depending upon what I am listening with, sometimes a little longer.

Has anybody compared Max’s line out into external desktop amp?

True line out from Dx220 vs Max into a neutral transparent amplifier & analytical iem/hp will prove how well dual 9028pro chip is implemented on either DAP.
