One thing I am surprised about is the lack of proper shielding of the screen. I am not sure if it has anything to do with the already very very bad WIFI performance. Otherwise I cannot believe a company creating such a product not shielding one of the noisiest of the components. Or is the screen as one piece has a shielding layer that guarantees manufacturers interference free operation.
I have listened with the screen on or off and don't hear a difference in noise floor and if the screen is off, why would you need shielding, it is off.

I think the way the lcd works is that it constantly in powered on state, and only switched on the pixels when there are voltages flowing through other part of it. The OLED is different. It could be partially off or, totally stay off ? But I could be wrong. I don’t know about how they work, but the noisy background in comparison was observed when it was on and or off

Regardless, the noises are negligible when you don’t compare it to the like of DMP or SP2K. I made sure to state it out clearly

I also didn't notice a difference. I am sure iBasso must have done proper measurements of it.

If iBasso went that far with such a large and heavy package, why not also install a WIFI antenna port when you are at it... :p

I want to clear up any confusion on the screen. When it is off, there is no current flowing and it is totally off, not just pixels. We also did measurements with it on or off and there is no change. Also please note from the measurements, how low the noise floor of the DX220Max is.

Please, Enjoy the music and stay safe out there.

The adapter is a PD 45W. As part of the PD spec it can be configured from 5 to 20v by the device plugged in (here the PD is emulated in the USB-C end of the cable)
I see, so this usb C cables has the circuitry in the usb C end to generate 18V that is compatible to PD 2.0 standard ? That is a good one, I will grab one

WIFI: Somehow the 2.4 GHz WIFI is very slow. Then I tried the 5GHz and with EU settings of the control channel (mine was automatically set to 100 on my ASUS router), it does not work. As a workaround, I set mine to 64, then I was able to see the 5GHz network but could not connect. Then I had to set the "Protected Management Frames" on my ASUS router to "Capable" rather than "Required" and I was able to connect to the 5GHz network, and I am very happy to announce that it works _much_ faster than the 2.4GHz, which is a big relief for me.

I am suspecting the current WIFI country code it set to China where control channels 100 and above are not allowed.

I ordered these two yesterday for the MAX. Should mean only one charger required.
PD and USB QC3.0 plus PD to 18v cable.

Will let you know.
Thanks. I found equivalent on Amazon here in the US and ordered. I have a PD but it is single output so got a 90watt with duel output so will be able to do the 18 volt and the 5 volt to the DAC section. Not cheap but an all in one solution. Like my 2020 Supra, it cost enough but there are add on items I have gotten that make it an even better sports car.

I have a very good experience with this one:

Using it for almost 2 years with macbookpro touchbar, charging also other devices simultaneously. Not heating too much, no “squeak” sound, small sized. Supports both PD3.0 and QC4.

Please, do tell us when you get it if that RAVPower charger works with MAX. Curious about it as well.

It supposed to do up to 20 volts and got two different cable types, so I shall see. :^)

Well, my solution to @twister6 suggestion is that I found an old quick charge 3.0 from my old phones....

So I utilized the stock charger and just combine them
