There are news about the final tuning 220MAX. In short, those who love the dx220 should have something to look forward to. The sound is more on the analytical side, hence bad recording is going to be bad, and good recording going to sound good. The reviewer that I trust, from WEM group, finds this kind of tuning fatiguing long term.

The display have the same dimension of the Dx-220 with an ugly giant black frame around. I know maybe is for power battery economy but in terms of design it is horrendous... Anyway who cares, if the sound and experience are fabulous right? But the weight?
