The M15 comparision is spot on matching to what I think: MAX has clearer sound with more extension in low and high ends of sound spectrum. i have little to no experience with electronics, but do you have to get the cable and the little usb dongle thingy to program it or the cable will work on it’s own? Thanks.

No, you can just get the cable, it will then work at your PD chargers maximum. You need one about 36W but each charger will have printed on it the voltages it supplies for PD, check the last one is 15V

Or better still, wait until I test a different cable that is fixed at 15V permanently

I also bought a few cables from Witrn (just arrived today, coincidentally). Their PDC003 series has fixed 9V/12V/15V/20V varieties and all you need to do is use that fixed 15V cable and make sure your charger supports 15V via USB PD (otherwise the next highest voltage would be used: ex) a charger only supports 20/9/5V profiles and you use a 15V cable, you will see 9V with that cable).

I’ll also post some measurements with the 15V cable soon.
