with firmware V1.01.084, when connect the DX160 to my computer (win10 64bit & win7 64bit) as usb dac,not every usb port can recognized DX160, even can recognize DX160 as usb dac, there will be some clicking/hissing noise when playing music, had try using another cable but still can't solve the problem, this will not happen when connect to my android phone as usb dac, only happen when connect to computer, is this a firmware problem or hardware problem?

Looking for help on how to get USB DAC mode to work under Mac OS X.
So far tried two usb cables and two Macs:
- MacBook Pro (13-inch, Early 2015) - 10.11.6 El Captain
- MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2015) - 10.15.2 Catalina
and no luck.
I enable USB DAC mode from the mango player but no new output devices appear in the system.
BTW, this procedure works well in Linux/ubuntu -- here USB DAC works fine.
Any special steps needed for Macs?
Sorry for hijacking the thread a bit but the title is relevant.

Same problem. My 2019 MacBook Pro doesn't recognize the DX160 at all via USB ports--and I have Android File Transfer installed, etc.

Wow, that thread is so old, I forgot about that issue.Same problem. My 2019 MacBook Pro doesn't recognize the DX160 at all via USB ports--and I have Android File Transfer installed, etc.
Let me find the solution for you in DX220 Max thread.
You need an additional USB hub potentially.
Edit: here's my solution, potentially other hubs will work too, I think there were others mentioned in DX220 Max thread but that's the one I can suggest you myself as I am using it.

HI, I'm using MacBook pro m1(13 inch) and dx160 (2019 ver), and just wondering if getting a new hub will solve the problem. (My hub is working fine at pc in windows/Linux but only macbook won't recognize it.)Thanks so much! This is very helpful.
