So I got 14 hours from first charge, with brightness down, mostly PO some LO, using Mango with flacs and occasional screen use to choose albums. Happy with that.

Q - any downside / benfits to battery saver on all the time when I'm just using local flacs and mango?

Have tested few other player on ibasso but still found these two the best. Use uapp as most "right, transparent, linear" sounding and mango player when i feel track has some unwanted sharpness, or treble and want that musical more warm flavour that softens sounds a little. These ofcourse only small differences but they are IMO. Try mango mode as people say it is best sounding even compared to android. So will tell
Yeah i prefer UAPP in any other device but on the dx160 mango mode is better. It brings the DX160 up a tier imo with better holographics, bass control, soundstage depth and separation.

Do you use your sundaras with ibasso or feel that it still needs more power to fully open.
The Sundara isn't very picky about the source and as long as its loud enough for you at 90% you're good to go.

I only use the 4.4mm balanced out on the DX160 and it's more than enough for my loud listening volumes.

I have screwed up my DX160 and it refuses to turn on. when connecting with my computer it only connects as Rockusb and the RkDev tool reads found one MASKROM DEVICE. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Uhm.. what did you try to do?

sounds like your android is broken. Best thing you can try is to create a bootable sd card and flash the device. See Lurker0‘s github page for further info!

Have you tried holding power button for 10 seconds. And if so, then try power and play together then release play if screen comes in. Should get you to boot screen.
