Settings - Advanced - scroll to the bottom, "To Android".
Thanks, I found a video about it too which is why I tried to edit my question by only leaving the spotify part. Apparently I created a second post instead.
Any pointers as to why there is no EQ in the spotify app? I remember this to happen on Motorola phones too, where the onboard EQ prohibits secondary EQ interference

I'm experiencing problems writing to an SDXC card from the DX160 (2019 model). Specifically, i'm using the Dropsync Android app on my DX160 to sync music from my Dropbox into a folder on the SDXC card. Syncing fails with write errors, and the Dropsync developers say:

The error message indicates that there is a bug in the SD card subsystem in your device. Dropsync checks if new files are saved properly on the SD card. That check fails on your device. You have to wait for the manufacturer to fix the bug. Until then only folders in the internal storage can be synced correctly.

Anyone seen this, @Paul - iBasso for instance?

I prefer the feel of a tempered glass protector over film where available, although film protects it sufficiently.
I agree ... I prefer a tempered glass just in case I drop it and many a time my smartphones have been saved due to such tempered glass protection.

Alright, just finishing up my install of Lurkers mod now.

I had to install Rockchip driverassistant as the .zip file from Lurker's website didn't have windows 10 drivers in it - but all good otherwise, easy enough to install if you've done some Android tinkering before.

Does anyone have any specific questions regarding Lurkers mod? Anything you want me to investigate/check out etc?

Had to uninstall Lurker. Was having problems with DSDs sometimes playing on the right channel only.
Stock firmware is solid. I did like Mango Os mode a lot.

I have the DX160 now and damn the screen looks really good in comparison to my Fiio M11 (returned it, dont have it now).

It does feel slower in performance but good enough for me since I only use it for music. I do have some questions and that is.
1. Is there no way to put the low/high gain toggle option in the "drag down" menu (like how it is in the M11)?
2. Do any of you use a "night mode" app to reduce the screen brightness or just to remove/reduce the blue light?

@RikudouGoku Btw how are you finding the DX160 in general and compared to M11 which you owned earlier? Obviously, the UI would be a bit snappier but how about the SQ!
