Nope, I literally allowed everything. It just says on the bottom "waiting for ibasso.com". It's almost like the site is not working correctly. No idea at this point.

Just updated to the latest FW. Have not tested BT yet but I can somewhat feel that the stage got a bit wider and taller. File sorting once songs are added to playlists is still a mess tho.

I heard the same with the latest FW. Placebo?

Note for DX160 2020 users: Add-on 1.27 is confirmed to work correctly in Android, but in Mango OS touch screen does not work. If you boot into Mango OS to find out that touch screen does not for you either, please do:

1. Turn DX160 off by press and hold Power button (10 seconds is not required).
2. Press and hold Play button, then turn the power on.
3. Continue holding Play button until you see Recovery console menu.
4. Select "Reboot system now" (1st item) and click Power to execute.

DX160 should boot into Android after those steps.

Note that I have only one report from a 2020 edition owner, and he started from flashing old, incompatible add-on. So, I'l like to hear from other users, who flashed v.1.27 straight way, to confirm or deny the touch screen problem in Mango OS.

I listen to the DAP daily and was on stock firmware.i could tell the difference right away after the latest update.

Did anyone have trouble downloading the software of the Ibasso site? I can’t download it..I click and nothing happens..I’ve been trying since it was available. I have pop ups enabled, so I know it’s not that..it just says “contacting ibasso” at the bottom and nothing happens.

Why not update yourself directly at the DAP, it simply works?

Yeah this update is not available through WiFi yet I believe..it has to be done by downloading on the computer.

I now have the 1.05.162 at 160, when booting - is now heard a few seconds after the graphic, right under "Ibasso", that was not past! About the sound, I'm a little confused right now ...

I compare 3 titles the 160 with the AK 700 (Flac) Hifiman Ananda.
Rise Across the River, Dire Straits Flamenco Sketches, Miles Davis - Kind of Blue Sparring Partner, Paolo Conte, the Platinum Col.

The Ibasso has won on stage and broad, warm ... not the brilliance of the AK700, but still a nice round sound. The brilliance and airiness of the AK700 can be almost exhausting for me. The price difference is too high for me, maybe I need other headphones for the AK 700.

That's why iBasso went for a more relaxed top end.you can listen forever vs something that's much brighter.

Modded software like Lurker's but especially Fidelizer, however, sharpen the top end for those that like that type of sound

Dx160 edition 2016. EX-modified!!! Well...only 1/2 way LOL!!!

It even had Glass-back and I broke the wireless antenna...I soldered it up with Copper foils and it works !!! Talk about Zombie likes
