It also depends on the headphone he used, it would be better if he specifies the headphones used.

As well as if you are using the SE or balanced output, as I have noticed a dramatic difference in soundstage/presentation between the two with Andros. SE it did sound like vocals were coming from behind me almost, whereas balanced spread things out and brought them more inline/to my sides.

Oh sorry, I specified before I was using a CB12 balanced cable to some IT01s.

With the balanced I was hearing the separation to the slides with a slight positioning behind me. For some reason vertically though it seemed more compressed vs. the DX200. I haven't actually tried the SE HO out on either so far.

This is interesting - DX200 injected with DX150 soul and turn out to be great (as he/she said)

Fidelizer is Custom OS and have been proofed gives better sound, like what they stated it is only for "LOL"

No, I've heard of Fidelizer before. I'm just curious is it better than what Lurker does for us...?

Why would anyone risk this?

Not sure about the DX150/200 since they have different DAC chips but I'm running Fidelizer's DX100 ROM on my HDP-R10 (which they specify works with their custom firmware). Perhaps some don't want to wait for a DX150 version of Fidelizer since it improves both speed and sound quality.

Still, I wonder if the DX150 would be a worthwhile (audible) upgrade over the R10?

I have tried to update to latest FW revision and I am having no luck in doing so. First time ever encountered an issue. Any suggestions? I am following readme instructions, but it gives me a cannot verify. I even reset everything to stock system and it still wont.

Can't verify, maybe due to file corruption when you downloaded it? Try to save it again. And since you followed readme instructions, I assume you unzipped downloaded file where you have readme and the actual fw zip file, that file needs to be copied to DAP. Furthermore, you don't need to put the file in a root directory of uSD, copy it to a root directory of internal memory - it will work as well (just in case something is wrong with your uSD card).
