Is anyone using Power Amp app with their DX100? I am thinking about purchasing the DX100 again but I need to be able to fiddle with the R/L volume controls as my hearing is not perfectly balanced. I was able to tilt it toward left with my Samsung Galaxy SIII so I am wondering if the same app can be used with the DX100. Or if you guys have other app recommendations that can do what I need, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Also I haven't followed this thread for a long time and I am wondering if the unit still does that "popping" sound when you turn it on or wake from sleep. I was worried that it would damage the balanced armature drivers.

My new one does.  Hopefully the upcoming new firmware will address this issue.

I don't think that's something that firmware can address, I think it's a hardware thing that we'll just have to get used to.  I hope I'm wrong, but I think I'm not...

Internal storage is under /mnt/storage/Music

Just keep clicking "Up" until you get to root, that's when all you see at the top left is Local, an icon of the device, and a forward slash (/).

Then click on "mnt", then "storage", then "Music".

While you're in "storage", you can long press on "Music", and a menu will open up, you can teh bookmark the Music folder.  That will make it easier to get to next time.

Thanks for that and the tip on bookmarking the Music folder.  Not intuitively obvious, not to me anyways.

Not intuitive at all for me either - and the sign on my door even says IT Specialist.

Am I the only one who thinks the music player really needs to lose the blue text and change it to white?

Or how about changing ALL text to white with a thin black border? Then it would be readable on any concievable background.

+1, white fonts with thin black border would work.

Maybe we can ask figgie if he knows a way to change it
