The D-Zero has WM8740+PCM2706 on DAC section. The AMP section is based on the AD8656, and well tuned with some audio capacitors.
Please check our site for detail.

Darn! that is a sweet looking unit. I am very tempted but I have the D4 and the Toucan/Boomslang combo, I will have to think about it. Regardless, good luck iBasso.

Looks great, excited for someone to review it.  I've been looking for a cheap portable DAC/AMP for traveling—what kind of specs does the DAC have?

sounds like a bargain for what it can do.!
Of course, the main question would be, is this comparable with other amps on the market at similar prices? (i.e. JDSLabs Cmoy, E7, PA2V2, etc...)

that is very cheap indeed.

I like how iBasso always includes this function: " Works as a DAC+AMP Combo, a standalone AMP, or a standalone DAC (Line out function)"

is the case made of metal or plastic?

Pretty interested in this as a cheap solution to get decent sound out of my laptop. USB out to this would be super portable and bypass the horrible headphone out on my laptop.
