I have the following setup in my living room:

A/V Receiver: Sony STR-DH550 (I mainly use this for PlayStation, Chromecast, and laptop connection)
Speakers: Yamaha NS-SP1800BL 5.1 (Just cheap 5.1 surrounding speakers)
TV: LG 47LD450 (not sure if relevant, but just in case)

The receiver does not have phono input, so I also need to get phono pre-amp. I'm looking at either Rega Planar 1 or Project Debut for LP player. For pre-amp, I'm considering Schiit Mani. I just wanted to check if I'm missing anything here or if there is significantly better suggestions at the similar budget.

I own a Planar 1 and I like both it and the Pro-ject Debut Carbon quite well. Don't think you can go wrong with either one, personally. Detail a bit better on the Pro-ject, bass more authoritative on the Rega, IMO. Still, both are good and good values. Just my take and YMMV, as always.
