Is SonicStage still the only option for Sony MD players?

It was one of the reasons I ever looked into MP3 players in the first place - back in the day, SonicStage wasn't that great.

Has it changed much?

The advantage what I find of the mini disc now and fast forward to the newer digital portable players is that it "doesn't need to be charged". Just take out the battery and purchase another one or even better use rechargeable batteries.

For some reason, I love Sony 'Mega Bass 2' settings as it is to my liking and it is a plus to have it on mini disc.

Does the mega bass of md discs, walkmans and discmans correspond to the same bass setting '2' on Sony walkmans Z, ZX, F etc?

I wonder why Sony doesnt include that famous Mega Bass switch on the newer walkman

I've had my Sony portable Mz-R500 player and 14 new blank discs on CL for a month now and haven't received one call.  You may have made me hang on to it with your thread.

Im looking at some of these MD collections and drooling. I miss my MZ-N10. My friends always asked me what the heck it was, the physical format of the discs were bulletproof and would probably last decades, and I liked the physical connection of putting in a mix disc and knowing what it was all in what shot, and not just my MP3s streaming.
