On the question of that, I ordered a Sansa Clip last night on Amazon due to my becoming curious about the limitations of
iPod 4G Nano straight headphone out -> ESW9, or
iPod 4G Nano > Tomahawk,...
And much head-fi love for the Clip

I figured it was a risk worth taking. Not since the PX100 has there been such inexpensive head-fi love
