I just can't get either asio or kernel streaming to work on winamp and foobar

I answered this already. Choose the one which is compiled for your CPU feature set. What CPU do you have?

Use the DLL in the SSE folder then. Delete all the other files.

Should I extract the ZIP file to a temporary folder (I was extracting the entire file into the foobar component folder) and then only copy and paste the SSE dll into the components folder of foobar?

ASIO installed successfully. Thanks!

What does "use Direct Input monitoring" do in the foobar ASIO control panel? I also have an "enable monitoring" option (ASIO?) in my M-Audio Revolution control panel. Do I need to click these to enable ASIO?

I just unzipped the whole lot into that directory...

...Well, at the end of the day, if its worked, however its worked... thats great

do you guys use the asio4all control panel thing? cause i still have a problem with it. i have a amd 3200+ and a av710 from chaintech..what output should i use 24bit to 32 bit?
