Cowon Plenue M2 - Semi PEQ, JetEffects
Lotoo PAW5000mkii - PEQ
Echobox Explorer - PEQ (running neutron and upsampled to 192khz of the PCM1792A dac)

I've spent fortunes on daps and keep these in regular rotation and selling the more expensive daps.

I really need a new dap and have been reading a lot . For me sound quality is most important, eq ability blue tooth are secondary.
I have been recommend the cowon Plenue D I cannot get over the 128 gb card limit . I’m considering . Hibys, cowons, Sony’s, fiios. Please chime in !! Bells and whistles are ok But sq...
Greetings floydfanx6,
Love the sound of my FiiO M7, and it works great with bt. Alas, I have problems getting it to play on demand, and the alphabetization is screwy - I am looking for a replacement. Bottom line: I cannot recommend that unit. I might just sell it and get the Plenue R (when on sale < $300). After all, I am still using my ancient J3 so I am seriously impressed
with Cowon. I now regret that I just HAD to try the FiiO. I know there are others who are happy with their FiiO M-series devices, so I don't want to condemn the brand.

Good luck making your decision!

I love my new iBasso DX160, though brand new it costs $400. The SQ is incredible for the price range, but the bluetooth really sucks. Also, it will be hit or miss with WiFi, as some units are better than others....go figure

I feel exactly the same way about my DX160, and it just happens I got the one with bad Wifi... I still love all the other features though.
