Correct me if i'm wrong, but can you only claim, on a credit card ? Not a debit one ?

I've made claims to  PrestoClassical and amazon has returned me unpaid Tax (because tax were lower) money to my debit card with no issues, even comply foam gave me te money back, again mexican post woes, they were lost (foamies)

You can still file a dispute with your bank and it would be up to their prerogative to do a chargeback iirc. He's also in another country so I don't know the laws in his country.

That's not the same though, Amazon as a company won't fight you, they are customer centric.

I am selling mY MDR-1R on MercadoLibre, a latin american ebay site

To avoid any sour experiences like i am aving right now I opt for MercadoLibre's partnership with DHL express de Mexico known as MercadoEnvios, they carge me a small fee but i prefer like so. It's fast and protected

Once a buyer contacts me and we set te deal, the site gives me is address data, contacta data and lets me print stickers for DHL and i just go to my DHL office wich is at 5 minutes from home and droip it off

Remember once a buyer told me please redirect te package to another address and I told im i would not do that as i know it's a potential form of fraud I refused and shipped to where he had as info on ML. He phoned me and told me that please change to tis address. At the end he agreed with me and he was a bit upset but well it saved me woes

Hi, i was wondering if anyone here is interested in selling a single ended 3.5mm mdr z7 kimber cable or if anyone here knows someone who sells good cables for the mdr z7 that don't cost $200.

Try the used forums, then have someone to help you terminate it for the Z7

A friend told me he got many valuables, jewels, 20K USD in cash and his baby son items plus a laptop stolen at the airport and the airline passes the buck between the bag handlers.. tis is mexico sadly, corruption

But i told him what the hell were you thinking? to carry 20k USD in cas ina checked bag, and a laptop (it can be damaged also) you idiot!

Look ell, when i went to germany I suffered with a 10KG suitcase, at least had wheels  +  a 4Kg laptop briecase, didn't want to check the 10Kg (only had clothes no-name brand just plain regular GAP or ther usa stores like dockers and levis etc) because the rumors bag andlers are mafias and the do the switcheroo trick of switching your bag with a drug-filled one.... drug gangs tactics

So wen i arrived to Hamburg I tell my man Lieber Arne, nehmen sie das laptop briefcase... ich kann nicht mehr (4Kg over my shoulder) and he offered to take my 10Kg too as he saw me literally dead (walk long distance at DFW and terminal change at heathrow from gate 40 at T3 to T5)

The 20K usd are you a erk?! i told the mexican friend really? Look in germany i only carried 250 euro max, every time i ran out i have a separate account and just transferred 4K pesos mexicanos to my debit card and went to a Geldautomat to dispose some fres 250 euro again, never carried more than 250 euros in my wallet

As you i think i will not recover my headphones... we all commit mistakes and we learn adly from the bigget of them

Try it with PayPal. However, you may not get helps from PayPal either, because as I mentioned, Paypal considered an item delivered to Custom is considered delivered. Or just hang on and work it with your seller. Keep in mind, the time you can dispute with PayPal is limited

and asking the bank to reverse the transaction?

and asking the bank to reverse the transaction?

Depends on the banks and the laws within your country. I know in the US, the bank can not do that, unless it was a fraudulent transaction, and it would need as many evident (documents, hand writing details, signature...etc) before it is deemed to be a fraudulent transaction. Until then, they will reverse it. Otherwise, they would not.

Paypal wouldn't be a fraudulent, unless PayPal said so....that meant you have to prove it to PayPal in order to be deemed so.....

Credit card is another matter, but like I said, it depends on the bank that issued the card, and the policy/laws within your country.

After all, it wouldn't hurt to try

He's within his rights to file for fraud. He received a box with a book instead of what was agreed upon. As far as the buyer is concerned how that happened is not his problem. The shipper should have chosen a proper shipper to cover his ass. He should call his bank and they will walk him thru it. Btw, you should avoid using a debit card for these types of transactions.
