Try Zepplin & Co. They may have some left in stock.

Pure marketing I guess. Limited production, good products and hype help to keep the prices high and the brand alive and as they are small. Soon there'll be another model in the same 200 units batch.

Anyone have any idea why Hyla keeps insisting on only making 200 pairs of their IEMs? I admit that I have no concept of how large the market is, but given that they sell out all of their models and then have folks still asking for them, it seems like a bit of a missed opportunity. Since my CE-5 has to go in for repair yet again, I was thinking I'd just buy a TE-5B/T. No such luck!

Musicteck has both models.

Another buyer for TE5B. But I preorder from Hyla. I ask them and they said that they will send early june. So have to wait some weeks until gets in Brazil. In between, will play with R1 Zenith that Im gonna receive probably next week. Cant wait to get my hands on TE5B and taste this bass that everybody talks about.

Musicteck has both models.

Yeap that's right, I got my pair of 5B's from MusicTeck. I had an email exchange with Andrew from MusicTeck, I gather that there should be around 3 pairs of 5B's left in stock (not sure about the 5T's though).

Appreciate it, but MusicTeck does not have any new ones left in stock. I bought the demo model (their last pair regardless) and hopefully it is in decent shape. So back to my original question, why did Hyla only make 200? Seems silly as demand outlasted supply by a fair margin. Oh well, I guess they might hold resale value on the classifieds :)

My pair of TE5B now up to 340 hours of serious burn-in, it has reached to another higher level. Sound stage has more width and depth, the timbre of mids and high are more detailed. Vocal and bass still remains the same I think this part has stabilized.

I will keep burning-in till 600 hours and report again.

I think it was a similar situation with their CE-5. Their products are limited runs, but the exact number seems to be pretty nebulous :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

The DX220 with the AMP8 is hard to beat with the TE5B.
