The Hyla website only lists TE5T and TE5B and off of those 2, TE5B is out of stock. There is no Sarda on that site, was it a limited run.

My understanding is it is a limited run of 300 Sarda’s. Hyla does have some TE5T’s left. TE5T and TE5B are a run of 200.

From what I can tell the Sarda is only being sold through dealers. I have seen it online at Musicteck, Synergyhifi, and Zeppelin & Co.

Subbed. I really like the HYLA black OFC cable. It pairs well with my MASON, and it somehow made the timbre felt more natural with. I got a HYLA Sarda recently and it's on its way :)

Ranfan I look forward to your impressions. I am over one week into my Sarda and thoroughly enjoying it. It has the right amount of everything to keep the enjoyment level high.

i hop you'll enjoy them, like i hop that i'll enjoy your QDC 8SH.
Thanks, nice trading with you. Should I leave a feedback? I'll do that. Anyway, enjoy your new IEM :)

Well since I demoed the Sarda some times before. It reminds me of my early and first favourite the Oriolus. I enjoy the dynamic lows of both of them, I have more than 100 tracks with hip-hop and electronic genre, and they suit them very well. The Oriolus was more V-shaped in comparison I think, with the Sarda possessing a warmer more neutral sound. The treble too is something special as it manages to capture the high frequency well without bordering on sibilance or ever becoming too dark. Which is why the Sarda could provide me with something my more neutral, natural or mid-centric IEM can't, that good synergy and high resolution sound with not only slamming rumbling sub-bass, but also a warmer lower mids, and proportionately clear treble suitable for many genre and different moods.

Since I have evidence that you did in fact break your resolution, you're up next for impressions!

I have evidence that you also have a Sarda! You are up next for impressions!
Markie Mark and the Hyla bunch!

I started writing impressions a few days ago and decided what the heck, may as well write a review which I have just posted:

I really like the Sarda and think it's Hyla's best IEM yet of the ones I've heard. Again, huge shout out to MusicTeck for always getting the Hyla stuff in stock and very quick shipments to fulfill the impulsive needs of IEM junkies like myself :)

Well Collin, I knew you were putting together some impressions but wow! A whole review and an engaging review on top of that. Well done! I do think you nailed what the Sarda is and is not! There is a lot more "is" in the Sarda than "is not" and that is so refreshing and refreshing each time I insert them in my ears!

Wow, just had a chance to compare the TE5B with my TE5T and Sarda. Thank you @uncletim for letting me try your 5B. The 5T and 5b are as polar opposite as opposite can be. The 5B bass is like porn star material. 5T is so tight and sub bass compared to the loose 5B. Sarda on the other hand is an excellent middleman of the two. Tight bass but includes mid bass and sub bass. And more refined than the 5B. 5B is also more V than the mild U of the Sarda. Sarda is really a warm W signature. I like all three Hyla iterations. From the high brow elitist 5T to the refined Sarda and finally the XXX star 5B.

Love the analogy LOL.

Now I wish I didn’t sell the porn star. But the Sarda is marriage material and that’s where I am at in this stage of life :)

Do you still have your retirement IEM (S-EM6 v2)?

My brother is retired so he has my S-EM6 V2! The IEM with no fatigue factor after one week of continual use!

I got a pair of Sardas in today, I've put about 3 hours on them so far and I'm loving them. They are like a grown up more mature version of the TE5B's I recently let go. I missed the Hyla house sound almost immediately, and when I saw a set of Sardas go up for sale I had to give them a shot. I'm extremely glad I did. I think these will be around a good long time.
