Only if it beats my whole agd chain by itself…to my liking. Are you going for the Weiss?
If that little box can manage to beat a chain that cost almost the same Im willing to buy it.
For now its only a demo session for a couple of days….the mk2

Black TT2 has darker background while silver M-Scaler gives more sparkle sound and a bit brighter signature I'm sorry but I coundn't stio myself from telling that old time joke...

Regarding LPS VS SMPS...
Why is this still a discussion?

Interesting to read and I remmber reading elswere that a good SMPS woukd be more expensive to build compared to a LPS.
I learned a lot from this video from Hans Beekhuyzen's channel.

It seems also that many people are considering SMPS vs LPS without considering the system as a whole. We listen to systems, not components. And designers look at the power supply as a part of a larger whole, too, not as an add-on. Considering power supplies without considering the full design goal.
Let me just say after all the discussion about(SMPS,LPSU,UPSU)....The "placebos" I have had. I am now at Volume level -53L and I absolutely hear every details. No loss in dynamics or imaging. .... I do have very sensitive ears, but this was not possible with stock psu and the previous source.
When I think about what I have said, after my findings here is, that I might be a little wrong on the power optimizations being the main reason.
I strongly believe my source/streamer has also something to do with this. Nothing in quality changes all the way down to when I can not hear music is playing.
...but still it somehow boils down to power anyway

Isn't that the last db before the TT2 mutes itself?? Your hearing must be ultra-sensitive to many of us as the range I am listening is in the -25-35H db range with relatively easy to drive headphones. Or are you using the XLR output to get this low, you never indicated the method of headphone output.....Let me just say after all the discussion about(SMPS,LPSU,UPSU)....The "placebos" I have had. No Its not my listening level, thats actually -44L(AryaV2) now, I was just amazed that all stereo image was clear at such a low point. Its clear and dynamic until my ears can not detect sound.Isn't that the last db before the TT2 mutes itself?? Power is strange. Even a power cord can change the overall sound of a component to a level where it sounds like a different component. The balance can be very delicate.Let me just say after all the discussion about(SMPS,LPSU,UPSU)....The "placebos" I have had. I am now at Volume level -53L and I absolutely hear every details. Example: Recently, I upgraded the power cable to my Master Clock with a mid level upgrade and I actually didn't like it as much as the entry level upgrade I had. Moving the higher end cable to the DAC and the improvement was noticeably better there. The digital source components are very sensitive to power.
